The new Technium Centre was recently completed and opened, in the heart of the maritime quarter in Swansea. The WDA commissioned the 20,000 sq ft building in December 1999 and construction started in April 2000.

The building provides flexible office accommodation of the highest order with integral state of the art technology and communications, for small size occupiers.

The second phase of the development, Technium 2 is planned for this year and images of the design are on our home page.

Kennedy James Griffiths have recieved 2 Lord Mayor' Designs Awards for the Technium Project:

The original building is being followed by a 2nd Phase as well as the construction of the new Morgan Cole headquaters on adjacent sites.

Leisure & Retail Development, Park Es Mirall, Mallorca, Spain

A 600,000 sq ft development incorporating factory outlet and festival shopping, leisure (bowling/bingo), night-clubs & theme restaurants master planned to focus around a 24 screen AMC Multiplex Cinema. Opening date has been set for October 2002.

Cardiff Gate Business Park, Junction 30, M4, Cardiff, South Wales

The 90 acre site was master planned to accommodate up to 1,000,000 sq ft (92,900 sq m) of office space plus subsidiary service buildings.

Currently under construction are :

• 60,000 sq ft office building for a major fund
• 25,000 sq ft serviced office building (pre-let)
• 100,000 sq ft Office Village Development
• 20,000 sq ft Motorway Services Building

Imperial Gate, St. Mary Street, Cardiff, South Wales

The development comprises of 50,000 sq ft of leisure facilities such as bars, night clubs and pubs, plus a 70 bedroom (50,000 sq ft) hotel in the centre of Cardiff.
